Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

Unleash your creativity: join the hackathon about on the mobility of children and teenagers!

Get ready to embark on a journey of innovation and excitement! We are thrilled to invite students from urban planning and informatics to team up on a transdisciplinary hackathon on the mobility of children and teenagers. Be it school mobility, everyday journeys or exceptional trips - we are looking for new approaches to support children’s and teenagers' travel autonomy!

What's the Challenge? We think about the trip routines of the young inhabitants of aspern Seestadt. What needs to be done for them to move around safely and independently in public spaces? The competition is all about creative solutions. Put on your thinking caps and dream big.

We’ll support you with a team of mentors, introduce you to handy tools and connect you to the real experts: kids and teenagers as co-creators. The highlight of the course will be a hackathon on-site in aspern Seestadt, where you’ll spend two days generating ideas on new mobility solutions and deducing applicable concepts. The hackathon will end with a public idea pitch, and the most exciting ideas will be awarded by an external jury. And: there a prizes for the best ideas!

Ready to become part of the lecture? Register now by sending a letter of motivation and be part of an exceptional lecture. The motivation letter should include your skills, your field of expertise, and your motivation to participate. Please make the letter no longer than one page.
