After successful completion of the course, students are able toapply the method of strolling for knowledge transfer (Walk & Talk). Essential contents on land use, sealing and internal development as well as spatial planning instruments are also taught.
During the course "Soil Walks: Walking as a method for raising awareness", the method of walking as an awareness-raising format in the context of land use and soil sealing is developed jointly. Inputs (walking as a method in planning, land utilisation and awareness-raising and communication) are complemented with the practical application of the method. Walks are prepared in small groups for the excursion in Drosendorf and carried out on site in June. The aim is to test various formats that can be used to convey content as part of walks, to independently create materials and to evaluate them after implementation.
The course is being organised within the framework of the "Soil Walks" research project of the "Region" and "Boden" research units (funded by the BML).
