Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the essential concepts, theories and empirical work on the everyday economy, to assess the importance for the socio-ecological transformation and to take them into account in planning and spatial development.

 "A good life within planetary boundaries" - how and where can this be achieved, which sectors of life are particularly important for this? How do they function, how do these sectors of everyday economy provide the services, how are they regulated and financed?

The lecture series "Everyday Economy and Socio-Ecological Transformation" takes an interdisciplinary look at the different sectors of everyday economy and presents the latest scientific findings on the importance of services of general interest and public infrastructures for a climate-neutral and socially and globally just world.
