After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

• evaluate existing installations in the renewable energy sector;
• recognize and assess energy-related planning implementations on the building and the settlement level;
• understand the opportunities and limits of serial replicability of individual success stories

The main content of the course is a two-day excursion that will take place in the urban region of Vienna-Lower Austria-Burgenland. On day 1 (see dates) we will visit locations in Vienna, on day 2 in Bruck an der Leitha (Lower Austria) and the surrounding area. Of course, we will use environmentally friendly means of transport. Before the actual excursion there will be a kick-off and an intermediate meeting, both in plenary, and after the excursion a poster walk as a final event.

• Hands-on excursion
• before the excursion: creation an essay, about one of the topics from the excursion
• after the excursion: essay upgrade, based on refelctions
