After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply methods of qualitative evaluation to socio-spatial issues, to select research methods in a context-related manner and to prepare results for different target groups. They get used to participatory skills and methods.
The exercise will be carried out on the basis of the work of the Youth Info Lower Austria and the Lower Austrian Youth Community Councils in selected municipalities/regions. On the one hand, it will be looked at whether and how the young people are reached (programme evaluation) and, on the other hand, which questions and challenges arise for their everyday spaces (social space analysis). Youth needs, ideas and design options are the focus ot the evaluation work.
