Teaching methods

The seminar is closely linked to the Writing Retreat for PhD students of the Institute of Spatial Planning. The course teaches well-tested techniques in designing effective academic writing processes. During the Writing Retreat, participants get the chance to apply these techniques right away. Moreover, basics of the academic publishing process will be discussed. During the retreat, participants will also receive individual support in coping with challenges in their respective writing projects.

The writing retreat for PhD students will take place at the Seminarhotel Refugium Hochstrass, Hochstrass 7, 3073 Stössing, from 07.-09.02.2022.

For participation, pre-registration via email to Lukas Barning (lucas.barning@tuwien.ac.at) and Astrid Krisch (astrid.krisch@tuwien.ac.at) is required!
