After successful completion of the course, students are able to name challenges and framework conditions, effects and stakeholder as well as methods and instruments of spatial development planning. By analyzing concepts, planning processes and good practice examples within different spatial situations and with different technical approaches, students are enabled to discuss spatial development concepts and to critically question them.

The course sessions will take place in presence mode. Please follow TU Wien regulations. Changes due to the coronavirus pandemic may occur.
Attendance regulation: A single excused absence from one of the five dates will be accepted, from the second time onwards the LVA can no longer be completed positively.
Enrollment is conducted through an overall registration (course 280.793).
Participants will automatically be assigned to the TISS couse after expiry of the overall registration.
