Subject of course

Design and organization of a conference with a focus on "Rural Areas"

  • Practical experience: Designing your own sessions (in teams) gives you the opportunity to gain practical experience in the conception and implementation of lectures or workshops in which you can demonstrate your organizational skills.
  • Networking opportunities: The conference gives you the opportunity to get in touch with experts and like-minded people from your professional field. This can prove highly valuable for your future academic and professional career.
  • Unique learning experience: Participating in the organization of a conference provides you with a unique opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice and develop new skills that go beyond the traditional classroom format.

The exact dates will be arranged in the group at the kick-off.

  • Kick-off: 22.03. 10-12 h
  • 2nd plenary meeting: end of April - presentation of ideas/concept/feedback (3-6 pm) / if necessary, appointment in Drosendorf to get to know the location
  • 3rd plenary meeting: early June - mid-term presentation (3-6 p.m.)
  • 4th plenary meeting: early September - focus on conference (3-6 p.m.)
  • Conference in Drosendorf: 18-20.09. full day

This course is held in cooperation with the landuni Drosendorf.

The landuni will cover the costs of accommodation as well as travel to and from the conference.
