Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to anderstand the field of community development. They have a profound overview of traditions and tools of community development. They also gain isight into practices and projects in Vienna.

Subject of course

The seminar looks at forms and methods of partcipation in the context of community development. This includes a historic account and a discussion of key concepts and means of participation. An emphasis will be put on community organizing.
