After successful completion of the course, students are able to
- to identify quality requirements for active mobility- to design concepts for local mobility- to apply survey methods for active mobilityFurthermore, the aim is to build up competencies in the planning principles of new forms of mobility, such as shared mobility and electromobility in the context of spatial planning.
The following topics will be covered:- Bikeability and Walkability- Surveys of pedestrian and bicycle traffic- strategies and concepts of walking and cycling- new infrastructures: meeting zones, cycle lanes, bicycle lanes...- Basics of shared mobility and mobility hubs- electromobility
