Focussing on the topic of the transformation of peri-urban areas, we will conduct a one day field trip, where we will bring together the results and debates from other module lectures.
Excursion based on several methods:
- interviews
- field trip
- observation
Furthermore programme planning and organisation of the excursion, including lunch and toilette breaks, are needed.

Participation in the kick-off meeting (2h), the preparation meetings (4h) and the field trip are mandatory (8h)
This course is part of elective module 1 ("Wahlmodul 1") and builds on the contents of the module accordingly. Students who have already attended (and successfully completed) the core courses ("Kernfächer") in the winter term will therefore be prioritized when registering for this course.
Students who have completed the mandatory courses of Module 1 will be prioritized.
