After successful completion of the course, students are able to systematically explain concrete projects and concepts at the district level and the planning processes and instruments behind them, and to analyse and evaluate them in terms of their foundations, values and planning strategies. 

The excursion covers a time frame of one day. Prepared for the respective projects and district development areas, the students lead the group. They are accompanied by guests from planning-relevant institutions and project managers. 

If the field trip in June 2022 cannot be held in presence, it will be held as an online field trip with guest contributions and discussion rounds during the same period.
