After successful completion of the course, students are able to orientate themselves in the field of Austrian constitutional and administrative law as well as in the relevant fields of EU Law and hold a profound knowledge of these areas of law. Students understand the links between international-, EU- and national law as well as the political and legal framework in which regulations are being introduced and enforced. Students are able to differentiate between the governmental powers and know the functions and coherences in a constitutional state. Students will get to know the relevance of regulations and legal instruments for decision-making in the field of urban and spatial planning.
