After successful completion of the course, students are able to discuss and assess the healthcare provision in urban environments from the perspective of urban plannning as well as regional economics.
Access to healthcare provision in the city - which planning and regional-economic aspects need to be taken into account?
During the Seminar students are asked to critically evaluate methods and content of published research papers on the topic of urban healthcare services.
Should the field trips be impossible due to restrictions caused by the pandemic, the Seminar and the Exkursion will be postponed to September.
Group presentations and discussion on published research on the topic of health infrastructure. Active participation will be part of the grade.
You can only participate in this Seminar in conjunction with the Exkursion "Social Infrastructure - Gesundheitsversorgung im urbanen Raum" (LV-Number 280.738).
Participation in the Ringvorlesung "Social Infrastructure - Forschung und Planung" (LV-Number 280.736) is strongly encouraged.
