The module consists of a lecture series on various key topics and aspects of the climate crisis and spatial planning and an exercise on climate proofing of spatial planning. During the exercise, various plans and planning documents are subjected to a climate proofing in terms of spatial planning and the results are documented. The indicators and criteria are jointly developed in advance.
The course allows the students a largely self-organized, interactive and practice-oriented work process. The students work as a "peer group" which supports and advises each other in the development of criteria and the research and documentation of the topic.
The module is dedicated to the discourse where and how we – the teachers and students of spatial planning – want to take a stand against the climate crisis in our research and planning work.
creative development, visualization and research, design of discourse units (including moderation and protocol), essay. The results will be compiled for use on a website.
