"Bildungslandschaften in Bewegung" / "Bildungsraum Stadt" is a cross-faculty teaching offer of the faculty-wide research team "Arbeitsraum Bildung". It is aimed equally at students of architecture and spatial planning and also offers the possibility of cooperation with teachers and students (educational science) at the University of Vienna. In the upcoming summer semester, we will take a closer look at the TU Library on Vienna's Karlsplatz and work on forward-looking ideas and concepts for the library as an important part of the educational landscape around the TU campus. In doing so, we are locating the library at its many interfaces - e.g. to the specialist libraries of the TU, to the working environment of students and lecturers, or to the everyday life of its urban surroundings. On the basis of a creative and critical examination of knowledge-focused spaces in the city and using the concrete case study of the TU Library, different forms of learning, joint action and mapping of knowledge stocks in the project area are researched and discussed. Building on this, the potential for the development and design of the TU Library and for (new) knowledge, learning and educational spaces in the educational landscape around the TU campus will be identified and elaborated. This requires "lateral thinking": existing as well as future spaces, activities and initiatives should be thought up and brought together as new educational settings: inside and outside, buildings and open space, learning, work and leisure, formal, non-formal and informal learning, mental work and manual work, etc.RELATE! = "tell"In individual work or teams of two, potentials are identified and scenarios are developed, presented and jointly reflected upon. We use the form of a story or picture book. Each work focuses individually on a spatially and thematically located future potential and thus represents a chapter in the vision for the TU Library 2030.
Research in the area and on the topic, mapping and graphic preparation of content, idea workshop, storytelling, photos/sketches/visualisations, discussion and reflection talks, interim and final presentation

The project work develops successively from a series of small exercises and short presentations, which are presented and documented in a project folder throughout the semester. The form of the presentation can be freely chosen by the students: Drawings, sketches, photographs, collages, text images, etc. Participation in the workshops, reflection talks and presentations is obligatory
Enthusiasm for creative and graphic-visual work (of various kinds, depending on your own style) is required. In addition, students are expected to have a personal and professional interest in the city as an educational space, as well as commitment and active participation in a cooperative learning process.
