After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the mechanisms behind price formation on inner-city properties, residential and building markets and to apply basic skills to assess the value of properties. Students are also enabled to name the basics of the Austrian residential market and its legislation as well as market structures and their influencing factors on various real estate market segments (residential market as well as office market, industrial real estate, retail and leisure properties) and to explain the functioning of location analyzes.
