After successful completion of the course, students are able to to apply the principles of the Austrian property law correctly in their future activities and to recognize the legal context of this activity. Furthermore, they are able to follow and participate in a legal discussion about the legal meaning and consequence of their activity
General legal terms, basics of law of property, claims in rem, special forms of property, acquirement and loss of claims in rem, legal protection, property restrictions, right of neighbors, land register, changes in property (divisions, joining), restrictions of devisions, border field book, basics of administrative procedures.
The lecture within the course will, as far as possible, be supplemented by dialogue with the students. The dialogue also includes an intermediate review of the acquired understanding of legal matters. A written intermediate examination at the beginning of December should prepare the students for the methodology of the written final exam at the end of January.
