After successful completion of the course, students are able to classify the following assessment tools in the framework of spatial planning: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Spatial Impact Assessment (SIA). 

After competition of the course students can differentiate between the EIA, SEA and SIA; they are able to describe when the respective instruments are used, how the process works and what the legal effects are.

The exams will take place ONLINE until further notice. The examination is written in TUWEL, the examination supervision takes place in a parallel ZOOM meeting.
