After successful completion of the course, students are able to systematically explain specific urban development projects and concepts and the planning processes and instruments behind them, and to analyze and evaluate their fundamentals, values and planning strategies.

Analyzing projects and processes, developing, reflecting and discussing standards of values, taking a stance - all of this is the subject of the debates and debates in this module. The students deepen their communicative and social skills and sharpen their focus on creative and innovative spatial planning solutions and strategies.

Introduction to the basics of the qualification processes in urban development, joint discussion of practical examples, presentations, essay on a practical example

Together with a field trip to current urban development projects this course is part  of Wahlmoduls 2 "Projekte, Prozesse und Instrumente der Stadtentwicklung".
