Generation of appropriate understanding of the relevance and methodology of IT-Law. Transfer of knowledge concerning important aspects and problems of IT-law.
National, international and EU law. Problems of interpretation. Special questions and aspects: e-commerce law; data privacy law; law on protection of intellectual property; IT-contracts; e-government; computer crime legislation; digital forensics etc.
The lecture is to some extent given in English.
Exercises (TUWEL) and written exam as regards the contents of the lecture at the end of the semester (50:50). Details to be found in the TUWEL-onlinecourse.
