Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to… - know and assess the current state of e-government services and information systems in the public sector as well as current trends in Austria and in international comparison - deal independently and critically with selected e-government services / information systems and / or with (technical, legal, practical) problems and developments related to eGovernment, - to understand the interdisciplinary needs in the development of eGovernment services (strategic, technical, functional, social, legal, economic) - to recognize the innovation potentials of business informatics in the environment of politics and administration.
