Aim of course

Basic understanding of

- concepts of public enterprises,

- managerial basics of public enterprises,

- pros and cons of different forms of organisations,

- New Public Management,

- Public Private Partnership models.

Applicability and practical relevance

- Understanding and applying managerial concepts;

- planning and management of public goods and services provision, e.g.    -Municipal infrastructure (e.g. water supply, waste water treatment, transport policies),    -education, child care, health care,    -Built infrastructure.
