The course gives future professional planners an introduction to the fundamentals of selected technical infrastructures that form an essential component of sustainable planning measures and gives students an insight into the importance, functions and strategies of integrated spatial and infrastructural development.

The course will discuss selected aspects of technical infrastructure, such as

-water supply
-effluent disposal
-waste disposal
-installations to protect against natural hazards and
-energy supply installations

 as well as the topics

-energy and settlement structure
-energy at the individual building level
-and costs of selected infrastructure installations

and elucidate the key aspects and subject areas of spatial and infrastructural development.

Schriftliche Prüfung, 12 Fragen über das gesamte Stoffgebiet.
Die 3. und 4. Wiederholung sind in Form einer mündlichen Prüfung zu absolvieren.

Zur Erlangung einer positiven Beurteilung sind mehr als 50% der zu vergebenden Punkte zu erreichen.
