After successful completion of the course, students are able to orientate themselves in the field of Austrain constitutional and administrative law as well as in the relevant fields of EU Law and posess a profound knowledge of these areas of law.
Introduction to the concept of law - Institutions and tasks of the state - fundamental principles of the Austrian Constitution - elections and law making process - fundamental rights - institutions, tasks and types of action of the Austrian administration - adminisrative procedural law - specific areas of administration law (legal framework for the operation of plants, building and planning laws); Introduction to EU law
Written exam (MC and open questions) at the end of the semester.
The exams will be held face-to-face from June 2022.
