Aim of course

Students learn about key concepts that underlie advanced geometric modeling and computer-aided architectural design systems.

Subject of course

The course covers key concepts for advanced geometric modeling and architectural geometry as well as computer-aided architectural design systems. Topics include: offsets; freeform surfaces; motions, sweeping, and shape evolution; deformation; visualization and analysis of shapes; parametric modeling; and performance-based modeling.
