Aim of course

To gain the capacity to formulate future and potential-orientated development strategies for regions in alpine locations by using an integrated planning approach applied in practice.

Subject of course

Demonstrate and discuss approaches of alpine (regional) planning, work on models for location imaging of peripheral areas a well as for small alpine centers, analyse interactions between alpine centers and its surrounding mountain villages and valleys and integrate such relations into planning, sustainable development of mountain areas by creation of regional identities; the topics are elaborated by directly reflecting on poractical work
