Aim of course
Understanding of basic system of social security and its function in social politcs.
Subject of course
Introduction to the fundamental ideas of social security; features, organization and administration of the Austrian social security system. Main issues of this lecture are - the financing (including insurance and contribution right) - benefits of the three branches of social insurance (health-, accident- and pension insurance) for all occupational groups. To current and discussed reforms in health care or for long-term ensuring of pensions will be referred.
