After successful completion of the course, students are able to answer fundamental legal questions in the area of contract and liability law. They know how contracts are concluded, how to classify legal problems in contract performance and what the consequences of such disruptions are. The students can distinguish between classic contract types and know the specifics of IT contracts. The aim of the lecture is to make it easier for students to communicate with lawyers in their professional life and to enable them to independently identify legal problems in the area of contract and liability law in their practical work.

Written exam and participation in the practice part.
Important:
1. The submission the exercise part is a mandatory requirement for the written exam!
2. Only students, who were validly registered for this VO in SS 2020 in TISS, are admitted for the exam!
3. Attendance is compulsory for registered students. The absence of the first unit leads to an automatic deregristration. One-time unexcused absence is permitted.
The exams will take place ONLINE until further notice. The examination is written in TUWEL, the examination supervision takes place in a parallel ZOOM meeting. You will receive detailed information on the examination modalities as well as access information for the examination room in ZOOM via email before the examination.

When and how do I get information about the exam procedure?
You will receive the access link to the exam room in ZOOM as well as all information about the procedure via email the day before the exam.
How do I get access to the TUWEL course if I am registered for the exam but not for the VO?
They will be added to the TUWEL course immediately after the registration deadline. The registration deadline can be found on the exam registration page.
Can I otherwise use any aids during the exam?
No, this is not an open book exam.
