to formulate a concern to plan and implement
present and communicate their idea in an artistic manner (practice)
research the field independently, explain it, recognize social contexts and document them
courageously pursue their idea and allow performative approaches
The artistic impromptu design begins with a quick and intensive design phase until mid-April and subsequent realization. The course includes: Research, fieldwork and interactions on United Nations Square. Supervision and processing will take place on site, as well as at the TU at Karlsplatz in seminar room 8.
A field research studio will be set up on site. After the final presentation (3.5.) the projects will be realized in groups and opened on a weekly basis.
Group work 2-4 persons. Each group is given a specific observation area or place of interest (Promenade, Ins Eck, Jungle Bee etc.) on United Nations Square. The entire activation program will be designed together in detail. The course is a cooperation with APL, Angewandte Performance lab and is partly held together with students of the Angewandte.
