After successful completion of the course, students are able to classify current issues and requirements in the context of the design of innovative educational landscapes as a place of work, learning and living as well as part of the urban infrastructure - in both formal and informal contexts - and to use them as a basis and preparatory research for further design tasks in this subject area.
The course will be held in the format of a lecture series.In short presentations by experts from different disciplines and professional fields, various models and concrete manifestations of educational landscapes will be presented, their respective specific innovation potentials highlighted, discussed and put into context

The lecture series as a joint, integrating course of the module "Educational Landscapes" provides input from different departments in order to make potentials and processes of innovation visible and to promote synergies out of multidisciplinary networking.Thematically, each Wednesday date is dedicated to a focus on which TU-internal as well as external, also international experts are invited. Following the keynote speeches, the different perspectives are compared and put up for general discussion.
The LVA is immanent to the examination.Attendance is compulsory.In consultation with the course instructor, the course participants research the respective topics before the lecture dates in order to be able to actively participate in the discussion following the input lectures. A written contribution to each lecture block must be prepared as proof of performance after each lecture and uploaded to TUWEL, otherwise a written examination must be taken at the end of the semester.
