After successful completion of the course, students are able to classify current issues and requirements in the context of the design of innovative educational landscapes as a place of work, learning and living as well as part of the urban infrastructure - in both formal and informal contexts - and to use them as a basis and preparatory research for further design tasks in this subject area.

The course will be held in the format of a lecture series.

Through short lectures by experts, tendencies, current topics and projects in applied artistic and spatial research, education, communication and knowledge transfer research will be presented, related and discussed from different perspectives.

The lecture series as a joint, integrating course of the module "Educational Landscapes" provides input from different departments in order to make multidisciplinary networking visible and to promote synergies.

Thematically, each Wednesday date is dedicated to a focus on which TU-internal as well as external, also international experts are invited. Following the keynote speeches, the different perspectives are compared and put up for general discussion.

The LVA is immanent to the examination.

Attendance is compulsory.

At the end of the semester, a written documentation and critical, further reflection on a contribution of the LVA of your choice (in consultation with the LVA instructor) must be submitted. This will probably take the form of an interview with one of the lecturers.
