After successful completion of the course, students are able to design a project that is oriented towards the common good creatively and on their own responsibility and to implement it in a team-oriented manner.
Due to the directly practice-based orientation of the course, learning results are achieved through both "headwork" and "manual work" and, in the tradition of "learning by doing", cognitive, social and emotional learning are brought together. Through networking, transdisciplinary thinking and action, a variety of positive learning experiences, both individual and collective, should be possible. The open process design should motivate students to actively and self-determinedly acquire possibilities of behaviour and action (also beyond the course framework).
The course is part of the FFG-funded "Innovation Lab for Educational Spaces in Motion - Bib-Lab" of the Arbeitsraum Bildung of the Vienna University of Technology (www.bib-lab.at) In the course of the three-year research project, innovative design concepts for existing schools will be developed and exemplarily tested in the area of the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung, in addition to participation and networking processes.> Cooperative work in concrete project situations that enable practice-oriented and independent learning> Process design by means of artistic thinking and acting in order to find creative and "different" approaches (also for seemingly complex problems)> Bringing together mental and manual work, cognitive and emotional learning, in order to initiate socially relevant socio-spatial innovations through diverse (also intercultural) learning experiences.> Weaving formal and informal structures into growing networks and solidarity in order to establish and consolidate socially integrative (informal) educational landscapes.

The LVA takes place in the BiB Lab project area Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung, Alma-Rosé-Gasse 2, 1100 Vienna (U1 station Neulaa). Continuous attendance at the LVA times in the project area is a prerequisite for a positive completion of the LVA.
Participation in the course "Learning in educational institutions - architectural mediation/research" (VU, 2.00 h, 3.00 ECTS) is recommended as a supplement: https://tiss.tuwien.ac.at/course/courseDetails.xhtml?dswid=7164&dsrid=484&courseNr=251901&semester=2023SContents that are developed during the course "Soziales Lernen in kreativen Prozessen" are processed and exhibited as an exemplary example in the architecture mediation format exhibition at the Geblergasse grammar school.
1:1 project coworking and preparation of a project report (logbook, storyboard, picture story, etc.) in which the course of the project and the associated individual and collective learning experiences are documented in text and picture in a manner appropriate to the process.

Interest in creative coworking with children and people of different age, but no special previous experience is required.
