After successful completion of the course, students are able to develop and implement methods and work processes for the collective realisation of an urban intervention. Insight into the planning and execution of the Austrian contribution to the Venice Architecture Bienniale will facilitate an understanding of future work in the context of exhibition design - from planning to implementation.
Excursion to Venice / Austrian Pavilion / Biennale Architettura 2020
As part of a one-week excursion to Venice, the exhibition objects already prepared in the artistic project "sudden workshop - Biennale Architettura 2020" will be assembled on site in the Austrian pavilion and adapted to the site-specific requirements. The excursion gives everyone involved the opportunity to gain a deep insight into the complex organisational structure of the architecture biennial.

Der sudden workshop versteht sich als eine Arbeitsmethode zur gemeinschaftlichen Aktivierung ungenutzter Stadträume. Seit 2015 hat der sudden workshop eine Vielzahl an Installationen in Wien und Österreich realisiert.
