Aim of course

The exercise s main goal is the procurement of the practical skills to simulate and produce parts, models or prototypes on CNC machines, to enable students the use of (simple) CNC machines as our institute (3 and 4-axes milling machines, 3d printer, 2d laser cutter, laser scanner). Emphasis on simulate and produce objekts with "activ bending" technology,

Subject of course

The main topic is the class is practical experience in model making and prototyping. This includes choosing the proper fabrication technology, understanding the possible impact of new technologies on the design, the CAD modeling of the part, programming the computer controlled machine using a CAM application , fabrication the model on a CNC machine at the institute s workshop. Teaching of relevant architectural geometry.
