Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to use additive and subtractive digital production methods, especially 3D printing techniques, CNC cutting and milling processes, laser cutting and the like.

Subject of course

Theory and experimental practice in the field of model and prototype construction under the following aspects: Suitable production techniques, design effects of the new production technology, modelling in the CAD system, programming of the computer-controlled machine in the CAM system, production of the model on a CNC machine of the institute. Mediation of the relevant architectural geometry.
