After successful completion of the course, students are able to adequately handle existing architectural objects in a direct freehand manner: they can both record viewed perspectives and analyze what they have seen in free sketches.

In-depth reflection: Reconstruction from memory, notation of schemata, anticipation of unseen perspectives with subsequent control on the spot

A special program for the corona crisis will is published in TUWEL. this can be done at home. You can alternatively follow the old standard program below and may use the summer months for this:

A sketchbook, small enough to bring it along anywhere, is filled with architectural observations and remarks. Some themes are obligatoric: scale and proportions, sculptural aspect, negative spaces, sequences of spaces and their abstraction, plans and sections, directly sketched on site, light effects, material and construction.
