After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply basic knowledge of graphic design. The focus is on the creation of layouts in the form of posters, flyers or booklets, with the handling of typography and the interaction of text and images being of particular importance. Other key elements are the creation of websites with webflow or wordpress, the preparation of organizational charts, charts or infographics (from data research to data visualization), the writing of concise texts and, depending on the focus of the semester, photographic or videographic application techniques.
Visual strategies of architectural presentation and mediation; communication strategies in time-and web-based media, research, text and content structure / information architecture, storytelling and design argumentation;
Graphical knowledge base (typography, color, imagery, layout principles); branding and brand management in the context of design and property development, public speaking and presentation strategies, project management from concept to realization, photographic and videographic documentation.

At the beginning of the semester, there is a data search in the form of elaborated questionnaires, interviews and photo documentation. In the course of the semester, theory (VO) and practice (UE) are increasingly linked, where the above-mentioned teaching objectives are achieved primarily through interdisciplinary integration and repeated feedback sessions (sometimes with invited experts).
