This seminar aims to provide doctoral students with the opportunity to present and discuss their work on their theses both to their supervisor and other students. Common problems of formulating the research problem, selecting methods, collecting data and analysing and presenting results will be dealt with in an atmosphere of critical enquiry.

Content of the course will be dependant on the topics being developed by individual students and the specific issues which these raise in the course of presentations and discussions.
