After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  1. Define the legal and ethical framework surrounding the use of AI in the context of creative disciplines, including copyright laws, ethical principles, and regulations such as the AI Act in the European Union.
  2. Apply basic principles of IT project management to implement AI systems effectively within planning and development settings.
  3. Evaluate and mitigate the risks associated with AI implementation in architectural practices, considering legal, ethical, and organizational implications.

  1. Legal and Ethical Framework of AI:

    • Copyright laws and ethical principles in the context of AI applications.
    • Identification and mitigation of biases in AI systems.
    • Overview of AI-related regulations, including the AI Act in the European Union and data protection laws.
    • Examination of global legislation pertaining to AI usage in creative disciplines.
  2. Implementing AI in Organizations:

    • Principles of IT project management relevant to AI implementation.
    • Considerations for integrating AI systems into organizational structures and processes.
    • Strategies for effective project management in AI implementation.
  3. Risks of AI in Practice Perspective:

    • Assessment of organizational implications of AI integration, including impacts on structures, processes, and decision-making.
    • Development of risk mitigation strategies addressing legal, ethical, and organizational risks associated with AI implementation in architectural practices.
