Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • develop, plan and realise an exhibition concept based on a research topic and architectural positions
  • apply suitable knowledge transfer strategies
  • work collaboratively as a team and realise a project together

Subject of course

As part of the design course, the exhibition "Half of our Lifes" is being conceptualized, planned and realised.

The content of the exhibition is the results of the LVA 260.836 "Work is half of our lifes", which examined the complex relationships between the city and work and shows positions on the productive city of the 21st century and the integration of work in our cities –  yesterday, today and in the future.

The exhibition will be on display at the Simmering District Museum from 9 March to 26 April 2024.

Teaching methods

  • Group work
  • Focus groups on: Curation/project management, exhibition architecture, exhibition graphics, PR and social media, sponsoring and event planning
  • Concepualizing + planning + realisation of an exhibition
