After successful completion of the course, students are able to process their professional and methodological knowledge in the design, representation and construction of urban spaces, as well as the natural science, technical, social science and cultural science knowledge required for this, in a diploma thesis.

The general teaching content of the Privatissimum is to familiarize the students with the methods and the organization of the creation of an artistic - creative or scientific work. The specific content depends on the particular topics of the theses, which are discussed in working meetings and group discussions.

The seminar usually takes place monthly. The diploma students present the respective progress of their master thesis and face criticism / feedback from colleagues and supervisors. The seminar imparts knowledge of research, drafting and research strategy and is an essential supplement to the individual correction meetings to support the work process on the master's thesis / diploma thesis.

The proof of achievement is given by the constitutive personal participation in the seminar and the elaboration of the working strategy required for the respective problem of the diploma thesis as well as the preparation of an independent scientific paper.
