• reflect a profound knowledge of selected companies and businesses and their urban context in Budapest and Vienna
• to grasp and understand the complex relationship between production and the city and its potentials through the examples visited

• Monday, 23.10.2023 - Vienna Simmering - biketour (guided tours of the Simmering power plant, Porr asphalt recycling, ebs sewage treatment plant, HQ7 area, evening together at Gasthaus Bast)
  
• Tuesday, 24.10.2023 - Budapest (incl. arrival + overnight stay, guided tours through the Grafisoft park, Zwack unicum and an input by Judith Klement about the industrial history of Budapest)
• Wednesday, 25.10.2023 - Budapest (incl. departure, guided tour through the Csepel Factory area and lecture at the KÉK Budapest)

Travel + accommodation are to be organized independently.

Tuesday 24.10.2023 at 10:20 bei der trainstation Keleti (train from Vienna leaves at 7:40)

The excursion is obligatory for all participants of the small design "Work is half of life" (260.836), but is also open for students who are interested to come along.
