After successful completion of the course, students are able to approach the topic of the interdependencies of settlement bodies and mobility infrastructure analytically and in design.
Understand the development of mobility nodes and their effects on place and city structures as well as the interweaving with the surrounding countryside and develop appropriate solution proposals.
The design will approach different questions in different scales in the communities along the Franz-Josefs-Bahn. After a detailed analysis and in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Railways, station areas as well as their objects and their settlement-spatial surroundings will be worked on and the connection with the space in various forms of mobility will be developed and designed.
