After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze a complex urban terrain, understand and describe the relationship between automobile production and the city, read and understand the structure of large architectural structures and infrastructures in urban peripheries and carry out basic research for an urban transformation process. Furthermore, to prepare these graphically using suitable means (text, photography, film, cartography, drawing, model), to present them in an understandable way and to transfer them into conceptual considerations that serve as the basis for a design on an urban planning scale.
