After successful completion of the course, students are able to further develop their diploma thesis in terms of content and structure. They will have the opportunity to methodically sharpen their diploma topic and gain an understanding of scientific discourse.
Based on students' individual diploma topics, specific issues will be discussed that are linked to the topics of landscape, natural resources, climate change adaptation, biodiversity and public space.SPECIAL FEATURE: The course is occasionally linked with the Master Thesis Seminar Urban Studies / Sociology (SE 280.975) in order to strengthen the interdisciplinary exchange.
Open discussion sessions, presentations of the diploma topic, optional one-on-one coaching, peer-to-peer feedback through participants.
Inputs will be held in German; the feedback sessions in German and, if required, in English.Please take into account that for the face-to-face meetings, the presence in the lecture hall/seminar room is required. Zoom meetings are held online only. ( Changes may be made due to Corona)Please note: In case of a changed Corona situation, the format may change (e.g. change to pure distance learning).
