Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand complex urban development processes, to describe their influencing factors and to identify the interests of individual groups of actors. The students have the competence to name control mechanisms for urban development and to use them for corresponding development goals in the context of urban design.

Subject of course

Framework conditions and influencing factors for planning and controlling the development of urban regions are shown and discussed here from different and multidisciplinary perspectives.
