After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and to grasp the essential interrelationships of the landscape and natural features that are relevant in spatial planning. They have an appropriate basic knowledge of the following topics: Geology, soil, hydrology, fauna, flora, habitats, climate, landscape, cultural assets and legal basics. The students are able to reproduce basic concepts as well as current topics of the natural area, which prepares the students for the practical needs for the first work experiences as spatial planners.
Lectures on the basics of geology, soil, hydrology, fauna, flora, habitats, climate, landscape, cultural assets and legal foundations with regard to the connections with spatial planning questions and problems.
Inputs by the lecturers, the students have the task of active participation (possibility of content-related questions and discussions).
The lecture is held in presence - In case of a changed corona situation, the format may be changed (e.g. change to pure distance learning).
