The participants will, under the guidance of renowned tutors, lecturers, practicing architects, urbanists, economists, sociologists and environmental scientists, rise questions: What is self-sufficiency? How self-sufficiency confronts present and future problems of economical and cultural globalization? How can be self-sufficiency implemented to specific topics: food, water and energy supply, transport, communication, social life, culture, economy, health care and recreation? Participants will propose urban scenarios for city¿s future urban planing and elaborate architectural interventions at specific locations which will introduce new possible paths to self-sufficiency and to Ljubljana as self-sufficient city.
