Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze and describe social settings and procedures in tourism projects in order to create meaningful and effective professional interventions. This enables the students to amend their design projects with strategic management measures.

Subject of course

Basic knowledge on social systems and their importance for the implementation of planning and design projects in the field of tourism. Types of interventions such as social, special of narrative measures and their potential to support planning and architectural design.

Examination modalities

Proof of performance in the module is provided by fulfilling the attendance requirement, appropriate cooperation and the preparation and presentation of short presentations on specific topics, as well as the development of a tourism concept (design project) on a topic of your choice with reference to the current main topic "Weinviertel". This work is to be carried out in small groups of 2-3 students each. There are therefore no examinations for the individual courses.
